Hoodsie Cups

Hoodsie Cups
Photo-A-Day #1316

When I was a kid the one thing I really looked forward to when I went to a birthday party was whether or not there were Hoodsie Cups. I guess I got so excited over Eva’s first birthday and wanted to make sure that we had enough of them on hand that I bought a supply that has lasted us for a whole extra month. But they are so tasty.

Today was an interesting day at work. I am in a new position now and it is like I’ve changed companies completely because I have to learn a whole new dynamic. Don’t get me wrong I really like that but it is all so new and different. I am now going to be a trainer of new hires as well as an asset to existing marketing support reps. This means that I will be working one-on-one, in small groups and also in front of large groups. I have already found something that I think will make a great project and that is working with Adobe Captivate. I have some big plans for that program and it is really great because I know Adobe products very well.

I received my latest copy of Popular Photography and they are offering that if I renew for one year they will give me two Gift Subscriptions to send to friends. I’m pretty sure that means a contest is on the horizon because I would really like to offer that to someone. Two someones actually.

NBC has given the ax to freshman show My Own Worst Enemy. I’ve been watching it and I don’t hate it. It isn’t the best show out there but it is pretty decent. Then again, I am a big fan of Christian Slater. I guess I’ll have to watch Gleaming the Cube, Heathers and Pump Up The Volume to mark the passing of this show.

I installed the WordPress 2.7 Beta in an effort to fix whatever issue is happening with the indefinite loop of custom fields. They are all Blog Authors fields and I know this happened because I imported that file of old blog posts. I imported it multiple times and it created multiple versions of posts all over my blog. I went through and got rid of all of them but I think I am still going to go over each and every post with a fine toothed comb to make sure that they are all correct, and optimized for search engines.

I may spotlight some of my old posts too to bring some new life to some of the cool stuff I’ve written in the past. Going over all those posts in a quick manner today was a race back in time to 5 years ago when I started this blog. And even though I went that far back I still said to myself why didn’t I start blogging sooner.

Photo-A-Day #1315

Crazy day driving home with the sunglasses on. This is getting ridiculous. The world looks so different without my glasses, I would like either pair to arrive soon. I just get so tired, because of my eyes. It is weird driving at dusk with sunglasses.

I am still having problems being able to actually write my post on my blog, still writing it in utterli first. I have not been able to find a fix for this issue but eventually I will get it fixed because it is very annoying.

You may have noticed that I have a banner ad at the top of the blog. It is for $5.00 off a $30 order at GoDaddy.com. I love GoDaddy.com because that is what I use for all 7 blogs that I have something to do with. There are four blogs that I am actively posting to and two in development as well as Allison’s blog. They are all on
GoDaddy.com
. I even host my blogs through GoDaddy and they are all there now, no more being on blogger or any other free service. I pay for my hosting and I am very happy with that because I can use WordPress on each blog and I think that makes for a much better blog.

When I first signed up for GoDaddy.com I was immediately contacted by a customer service rep who talked me through a bunch of questions that I had and he even asked more questions that I didn’t know I had. It was a wonderful experience for me and because of that I have recommended it to my friends like Neil at edlambertinsurance.com. We’ve got much more to do with it but the site is up. I would also recommend that StephenTheDog use GoDaddy as well because he needs to get off blogger too. Now with the election over he has time on his hands before the next plan of his.
