Diminishing Perspective

This sheet of ice and snow slipped off of our window unit air conditioner and stayed perpendicular to the roof. It stayed like that all day because the temperature is holding steady at cold. But that snow won’t stay there like that forever. Temperature, the sun and time will wear it down back into water and then also to gas. And one day it will be snow again.

My Morning Walks

My Morning Walks

For the past couple of mornings I have strapped on a pair of snowshoes and fired up my iPod and trekked around a snow covered field. These walks have given me time to reflect as I listened to the words of Michael J. Fox and his book Always Looking Up: The Adventures of an Incurable Optimist (aff link). I’m nearly finished the book and am probably going to buy Lucky Man next.
