Photo-A-Day #3154
For the past eleven years we have had the privilege of having the sweetest, gentle dog in our lives. Taylor was my sister and brother-in-law’s dog. They have had her since she was a puppy. She was such a unique dog. Our daughter Eva grew up along side Taylor and they shared a special bond.
We went to say our goodbyes to Taylor today. Tara made a photo album for Eva of the many special moments that they shared together. It was a generous thing for Tara to do especially when she herself was hurting so much. I think that this album will help Eva as she tries to understand losing Taylor. Tomorrow we are going to do an Onion Crunch Challenge. If you’ve made Green Bean Casserole for Thanksgiving before than you probably used French’s French Fried Onions to top it. Well, this year I was sent a package of French’s (what we’ve used for years), Fresh Gourmet (never heard of it or tried it) and Onion Crunch – a topping that we’ve been using on Salads, Hot Dogs and Pizza for the past year. The package came from Onion Crunch so we could do the Onion Crunch Challenge.
We’ll take the three types of fried onions and split our green bean casserole into three equal parts and top those parts with each topping. Then we will take those and do some taste tests to see which fried onion topping we like best.
I have a feeling that we’re going to go through that whole container of Onion Crunch.
I wanted to let you know about this new product before Thanksgiving rolls around because I think Onion Crunch just might become your new holiday tradition. Go pick up a bottle.
