Apparently Friday is #FoodieFriday and each Friday leading up to the movie The Hundred-Foot Journey I may be getting delicious recipes to share with you with food from the movie. This week there is a Quiche Lorraine Recipe.
We were provided a copy of the first feature length animated adventure from Slugterra called Ghoul from Beyond to watch and review. Opinions are 100% our own.
I was so excited to hear that there would be a Slugterra feature length movie coming to DVD. The end of the Slugterra series left me wanting much more. I want to see the story continue. I want to know what happened to Dr. Blakk and more importantly what happened to Will Shane. I hope that the series picks back up and eventually we learn more about the Shadowclan and also about those characters who are missing. Because we learn in this movie that there are many more caverns than the 99 known ones in Slugterra. There are more people and more slugs around including the slug from this movie that is a ghoul.
I so want to tell you all about the movie but do not want to spoil it. I enjoyed the movie very much. Eva got freaked out when something happened to Eli to change how he looked and acted. That sort of stayed with her because she loves Eli and seeing him look a bit creepy was not her idea of fun. There were fun lines of dialogue from Pronto Trixie and Kord. We catch up with the King of Sling and a bunch of new baddies including a very tough slugslinger. The movie comes out on DVD this Tuesday June 10th at retail locations all over. It is worth picking up to see what is in store next for Slugterra.
One last little bit, we watched the entire thing and at the very, very end there was a quick flash announcement that there will be a Slugterra movie released to theaters coming sometime in 2015, I think. I had to rewind a few times to catch that.
