Photo-A-Day #3454
I received the latest Loot Crate today. There were some fun things inside but my favorite was this Funko Mini of Mal Reynolds from Firefly. It went perfectly with the inside of the Loot Crate which looked just like the cargo hold of Serenity. Those were the best parts of the whole crate. There was even some money from the Bank Job episode of the show which was very detailed and looks amazing. Also inside was a ReAction figure from the movie Alien. My friend James Zahn of The Rock Father had talked to me at length about these ReAction figures and I am glad to finally have one in my possession. It might make me look into getting a few more of them. Here’s a photo of what else was in this month’s Loot Crate.
While there were items from Star Wars and Star Trek inside there was not a thing for Battlestar Galactica. Dang.
In the past few weeks I’ve been to visit my local Walmart three times for this #CollectiveBias shop. I was there the first time to scout out the things I would need to create a fun Superheroes recipe with M&M’S® because #HeroesEatMMs. I was also there to check out what Captain America: The Winter Soldier items I could find including the DVD. This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone.
Like I said, my first trip was primarily a scouting mission. The second time I went back to buy everything I needed for my special recipe which I am calling Captain America’s Deconstructed S.H.I.E.L.D. M&M’s Cookies Ice Cream Sandwiches. The third time was over this past weekend to check out an in store event for Walmart’s Super Hero September. That event was in the Bakery section where the kids received some fun Marvel Super Heroes cupcakes and coloring pages. There were also some Super Hero Mashers and samples of party items for Marvel Super Heroes themed parties. Continue reading #HeroesEatMMs with Captain America’s Deconstructed S.H.I.E.L.D.
