Avengers: Infinity War Giveaway! Over $300 in Prizes!

Avengers Infinity War 300 Dollar Prize Pack Giveaway

The biggest movie of 2018 has been built upon ten years of Marvel Cinematic Universe history. From the very first Iron Man movie everything has been leading to Infinity War and things will never be the same! During those years I had the unique privilege to not only see every single movie but to attend four of them in incredibly special ways. The first Marvel movie that I saw outside of the norm was the first Guardians of the Galaxy. This was the first time I was able to meet and interview the stars of a movie and also get special insight from the director of the movie. After that I was able to interview the casts of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Doctor Strange and Thor: Ragnarok. So, finally seeing all these characters together in one movie is a dream. I wanted to do something special and so I teamed up with the Hopping Bloggers to participate in their huge Avengers: Infinity War Giveaway. There are some great things in the prize pack and there are affiliate links out to Amazon.com that you can use to pick up anything you might need to celebrate this movie in your own way.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is filled with so many Heroes It Will Help You Get By Till the Avengers InfinityWar Movie Releases

LEGO MARVEL SUPER HEROES 2

I received a copy of the LEGO MARVEL SUPER HEROES 2 game for the Nintendo Switch for free to play with and review! I have been so excited about this because all of the characters that are part of the game! Opinions are 100% my own. This post contains affiliate links.

I have been playing LEGO MARVEL SUPER HEROES 2 on the Nintendo Switch for a few days now. This is such a fun game! I haven’t gone through the whole thing yet but I have played a few levels. In the game the Marvel Super Heroes are in a fight against Kang the Conqueror who is a master of time. There are s many heroes who are part of this game that I can’t even count them all and I have only scratched the surface. I’ve fought as the Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain Marvel and Iron Man as well as Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel and White Tiger. I’m looking forward to when I can also play as The Hulk and Thor.

The gameplay is just like you would expect from LEGO games so it is easy to get right into the game and enjoy it. The cut scenes are hilarious and filled with the humor that you can come to expect from LEGO. I want to keep playing just to get to each of them. I also want to be able to unlock every character in the game. There are so many of them! Take a look at the trailer below.

Marvel Collector Corps – First Appearance Avengers Unboxing

Marvel Collector Corps First Appearance Avengers
Photo-A-Day #4511

My Mavel Collector Corps – First Appearance Avengers box arrived yesterday. But today I got a chance to unbox it. I also mentioned that I received a copy of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. Blu-ray Combo Pack. I’ll be making a blog post review of that before the pack is released on Tuesday. You can already get the movie on Digital but if you have a 4K TV then you can get a pretty awesome pack that is 4K. I know that James Gunn really lobbied for that.

As far as the Marvel Collector Corps I enjoyed this box but thought that it should have at least had a comic inside. I think the exclusive comics are great and they give Marvel a way to introduce fans to new comic series. I think it would have made sense to have a comic like 1,000,000 B.C. Avengers. That would have made a lot of sense to go with the theme. I guess it makes sense in my mind at least. The box was a decent one and I have a whole unboxing video below.

Clearance Finds at GameStop and Target

LEGO On Clearance
Photo-A-Day #4470

On the way in to work today I stopped over at GameStop and there I found that they had a few FUNKO Pop figures on Clearance. They were even doing specials where you buy one POP the other was 50% off. With prices down to $5 I made a careful look through the inventory and found two that I wanted. Marvel’s Captain Marvel and from Star Wars Rogue One there was Director Orson Krennic.

They also had some POP themed pens that had Marvel characters on them for $2. I got Iron Man, Captain America and The Hulk. They now sit in my coffee cup along with my Star Wars one with Chewbacca on it.

At target there was a some clearance LEGO NEXO knights which will work well with some stop motion videos I’d like to make. The thing is, though, that they do not have holes on their feet to secure them to the ground so I will have to get creative with adding some additional pieces to the feet to keep them from moving while I make any videos.

LEGO Haul – Spider-Man Homecoming Sets and Re-branding?

New Business Cards
Photo-A-Day #4434

I found the latest Spider-Man LEGO Sets for Spider-Man Homecoming. I was at Target looking for a Spider-Man mask that has cloth bottom so that you can flip it up and see your mouth. I found that and the new LEGO Sets #76083 Beware the Vulture and #76082 ATM Heist Battle. I am excited to build these sets. I think that now that Guardians has come and gone that I will focus on all the Spider-Man sets that I have in my collection. There are a lot to build.

We are also doing some re-branding of the blog and the vlog. We will now be called BenSpark Family Adventures. I got some brand new Business Cards made up from Moo.

Eva’s Trip to The Little Red Schoolhouse

Little Red Schoolhouse
Photo-A-Day #4405

Today Eva had a field trip to The Little Red Schoolhouse. This has been a trip that kids at her school have been doing for years. I went there when I was a kid, too. All the kids dress up from colonial times and they bring their lunches in baskets and things like that. She even had us make bone in chicken breasts the night before so her lunch could be more authentic. She’s definitely our kid.

Today I attempted a DIY project but it got stopped because I destroyed a portion that was needed. So, I had to put it on hold to go and get a special part. I’ll continue the project tomorrow. It is for a blog post coming next month.

I got a couple more Marvel LEGO sets recently to continue my collection of Marvel sets. I’ve got all the Guardians and am having a good time making these sets. We were going to build one of the sets during Built from Bricks but instead we worked on a fun stop motion, they take a long time to do.

Speaking of time. I did not have time today to make another stop motion or build of a set and instead today’s post is about a new organizational system that Eva is using for her LEGO pieces. Check it out below.

Continued Work on Stop Motion Studio

Tonight I went to Brian’s to film Built from Bricks. I really thought that I’d have more time today to do something other than talk more about the Stop Motion Studio.

I did get a bunch more LEGO sets today. Two came in the mail and two I picked up from Toys ‘R Us. I like to scoop things up on the 10% off days. Next week I will have a coupon plus a $5 coupon. There is another Marvel set that I have my eyes on.

I think that I’ll build many of these in a stop motion type video.

Building A Stop Motion Space For My Daughter

My Minifig
Photo-A-Day #4397

My Daughter has caught the Stop Motion bug. We started with the program Stop Motion Explosion on my computer and Eva made a couple of Stop Motion movies with our Modibots.

This past weekend I was at Philly BrickfFest Live where I met Dave Pickett from Brick 101. I bought his book The LEGO Animation Book. He even signed it and that thrilled Eva to no end.

When I got home I looked around my office and decided to move the studio back upstairs but also build in some space where Eva could work on her Stop Motion Creations as well.

#Unboxing Marvel Collector Corps Superhero Showdowns

Bullseye and Daredevil
Photo-A-Day #4334

My latest Marvel Collector Corps box arrived today. I tried doing a traditional unboxing but that feel by the wayside when the camera would not focus properly. I did a few things to compensate for it and I hope that you like the way this video came out. I had to film in between the kids screaming and yelling while playing Hide and Seek.

This is a great box with so many cool things inside. I think this is one of my absolute favorites so far. That is, until the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 box arrives. I can’t wait to see what is inside that.

As far as this box is concerned, ti was filled with so many cool things. There were Pops, A Special Comic Book, A great patch and Pin as well as a tshirt and other surprises. I buy this myself and so it is good to get some great value from it.
