I got home today and Eva was hard at work making something to show me. Right before I went up to bed she took me to the LEGO table and showed me her creation of the double decker couch from The LEGO movie. She was so proud of it and how she used the minifigs to represent everyone in the family. Not sure why she made me the police officer. But she did give me a hot dog so that represents me pretty well. She even added in some of the cats around the couch. I like that she is using her imagination with the LEGO bricks.
With the snow continuing to come down and freeze again and again we’ve gotten so many different ice formations but the most interesting one is right outside the second floor landing. Snow that had been right up against the window has pulled away and then a small icicle began to form. Then the icicle connected at top and bottom. It is kind of cool to look at.
Of course this has been an insane Winter. I am worried for ice dams on the back of the house. I’ve placed some roof melt up on the roof and hope that it will make some channels but it looks like eventually some panty hose and ice melt might be making its way up onto the roof. I’m so sick of all the snow and ice.
