I picked up a set of Star Wars Rebels toys for Eva because she likes the show. She’s a big fan of the character Sabine. I should have been paying much more attention to the toys when I started picking them up because I would have gotten the droid, Chopper. You can’t find him anywhere, for under $40. I can’t believe he costs that much.
I received a few sets of toys from a PR firm and now I have a really nice set of figures that are both from Rebels and from other Star Wars series. They all inhabit my desk with the Force Friday Countdown calendar that I have. That calendar is counting down the days until the new toys are released.
It was a hot one day for #AdventureFriday. I was up with everyone in the morning and then folded a mountain of laundry while Andrew watched some PBS. Around 9 we went to Morin’s and split a Fenway Fable and a Grilled Blueberry muffin. Andrew loves breakfast as much as I do.
With our bellies fueled up we headed over to the Capron Park Zoo because I knew that the Splash Pad was up and running. Well, it seems that there were a bunch of schools that were having outings and they had the same idea. When we got there a huge line welcomed us. We went over to the playground and played for a while so that the line would go down. While we played Andrew made a friend. He’s such a friendly kid. He goes up to anyone and introduces himself.
