DVD Review: Miles From Tomorrowland – Let’s Rocket

Miles from Tomorrowland has become a fan favorite cartoon in our home. Before the show even launched I had the privilge of interviewing the creator Sascha Paladino. That was such a fun interview and it got me fired up for this show. My excitement spilled over to the kids and we began watching the show together. Andrew is often saying “Oh Craters!” when he’s upset with something. He even says that things are “Blastastic!” when he is happy. So, the show is a part of our lives.

When we had the opportunity to review first DVD for “Miles from Tomorrowland” I had to take it. Opinions of the show are 100% our own. We have had many good experiences watching this show and love the guest stars. I’ve even tweeted with Sascha and Cullen McCarthy. There is a great message about family in this show. The family unit works together to overcome some amazing obstacles. They function well as both a family and also as a crew. The show is also very funny. This DVD which came out on August 11th has a great selection of episodes. I look forward to re-watching them with the kids. More about the DVD below. Curious George 3: Back to the Jungle debuts on PBS Kids Today

Today the special, Curious George 3: Back to the Jungle will premiere on PBS Kids. We received a back to school pack and a copy of the Curious George 3 DVD. Opinions are 100% our own. The items that we received in the back to school pack included some new folders, a pencil holder and a lunch tote. The back to school products are being sold at Whole Foods as part of a partnership. Whole Foods Market will donate a percentage of total sales, up to $25,000, to Whole Kids Foundation™, an organization dedicated to improving children’s nutrition and wellness.

One-hundred percent of PBS KIDS’ net proceeds from the line will support PBS KIDS educational programming, dedicated to helping all children succeed in school and in life, while Whole Foods Market will donate a percentage of total sales, up to $25,000, to Whole Kids Foundation™, an organization dedicated to improving children’s nutrition and wellness. In addition, for every Esperos backpack, pencil case and lunch tote purchased, Esperos will donate 10 percent of proceeds to help fund education for children in need through the Esperos Carry Hope™ initiative.

Curious George 3 and PBS Kids Back to School

The back to school items were really nice. High quality and with nice designs. Eva will be using the folders this year and Andrew will be taking the pencil case and lunch tote to school when he starts. But before that happens we’ll be checking out Curious George 3: Back to the Jungle on PBS Kids today. Here is the trailer for the movie.
