I was invited to Edaville, USA along with the family to experience the opening of the all new Thomas Land. We were provided free admission, lunch and a gift bag. Opinions of our experience are 100% our own. I took the family with me to experience this new park. The last time we went to Edaville was six years ago. We took Eva there for Storybook Day. In the time since, Edaville has gotten more and more built up. Now there is a new part of the park called Thomas Land being opened and also it is still being completed. There will also be a new section called Dickens’ Village. I hope that is finished before Christmas because that will look spectacular from the train. Tonight we took my parents to The Flying Bridge over on the Falmouth Harbor to celebrate their anniversary. This is a very nice restaurant so we all got dressed up and enjoyed dinner out on the porch. Shelby and her kids also came for family dinner. My Dad had been telling us about the Onion Rings that they do at the Flying Bridge. They are a super huge stack of onion rings. We got an order for the whole table and there were so many that we couldn’t finish them all.
Dinner was delicious. Allison and I split a Fisherman’s Platter piled high with fish, shrimp, clams and scallops. The Fisherman’s platter is one of my most favorite things to order when we are on the Cape. I like the shrimp and Allison likes the scallops. Continue reading Family Dinner at The Flying Bridge→
