Ever since Force Friday on September 4 I have been looking for the new Star Wars Hot Wheels Cars. They were noticeably missing from any displays that I saw for Star Wars. At Target there was even a spot for them but they were not present. I did find a Kylo Ren car as part of a special 5 pack of cars at Target but not the single car until today.
I like the details of this car. If you look directly on the side of the car there is a red piece that looks like the lightsaber that Kylo Ren has. The lightsaber has a crossguard that is made of small lightsabers as well. There are other details as well like the windshield of the car. It looks like the mask that Kylo Ren has and it also has clear red window and sliver accents. The roof and back of the car have almost a diamond plate design to it. The rear of the car looks like the grip and pommel of the lightsaber. Wheels have shiny red rims to them, too.
There is so much awesome going on in this new poster for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This is the final poster for the movie and it looks incredible. I love the color and balance of the thing. Look at Riley’s angle of her staff juxtaposed with Kylo Ren’s lightsaber. The use of red and blue. And since it is J.J. Abrams you can’t have a poster without a little lens flare. There is one mystery to the poster, though. Where is Luke? We know that Luke is in the movie but where is he in this poster. Han, Leia, Chewbacca, C-3PO and R2-D2 are in poster along with many of the new characters. But Luke is noticeably missing. I wonder if we will get a glimpse of him in the new trailer that comes out tomorrow. More details on that below. But first a little teaser from the Star Wars Instagram.
