Andrew’s First “Farm Day”

Today was Andrew’s very first “Farm Day” at school. I had been looking forward to this day ever since he started his 3 year old class. Farm Day was so much fun when Eva was at the school and I knew Andrew would love it, too. The kids start their day with a country breakfast of orange juice, sausage and biscuits. We volunteered to make the biscuits and got those done right before we left the house so that they were still hot for the kids to enjoy.

So, the kids have the morning for the breakfast and other things and the parents can come back about 45 minutes later. So while I waited I got a coffee from Honey Dew and came back to the parking lot and recorded a Periscope. Periscope is something that I learned about at IZEAFest and since then I’ve been doing one every day. The one I did from the car was basically an introduction to who I am. You can watch it below. 2015 Hess Toy Truck has Arrived at Benspark.com Headquarters

Hess Toy Truck Side by Side!We received the brand new 2015 Hess Toy Truck to check out and review. Opinions of the toy are ours alone. This year is the first year that the Hess Toy Truck is almost entirely available online only. However there will be 10 select shopping malls that will have the Hess Toy Truck starting November 12.

Each year we give the kids the Hess Toy Truck for Christmas. Well, Santa gives it to them to share and they really enjoy them. I just wish I had started this tradition when Eva was born. Oh well, you have to start a tradition at some point, why not right now. Luckily when I received the Hess Toy Truck in the mail today Andrew was asleep so I took the opportunity to record a Periscope of the unboxing. Check it out below.

Oh man, how cool would it have been to open one of those Silver Edition Fire Truck and Ladder Rescue. It would be but I honestly prefer the actual Hess Toy Truck. If goes great with our collection. It has great lights and sounds. It is a tough and rugged as the ones we already have and I know the kids are going to love it. I’m a huge fan and that is why I am so glad to be part of the team promoting this toy. There are so many cool parts to these toys and the lights and sounds are perfectly spot on.
