Captain America: Civil War Product Tie-Ins

Mother Nature’s crazy weather continues to bring us April snows. It snowed all through the night. I was up during the night with Eva because she was sick. She tried to get to the toilet and threw up all over the floor of the bathroom. Allison took her downstairs and I cleaned the bathroom. Then I stayed up with Eva and we watched a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles themed Cupcake Wars episode. So, she stayed with me for the day.

Andrew went and “helped” me shovel the back yard while I cleaned off the cars. As I was cleaning the cars the ground underneath was already wet because the air was heating up. Most of the snow was melted by the end of the day. No major shoveling needed.

Today we got a new couch. Dad came over and helped me move the old one out to the street. I put a “Free” sign on it and hoped that someone would take it. Then Dad and I went with the kids to Big Lots to pick up the new couch. Andrew was an imp the whole time. We ended up getting the couch into the van and then into the house. It fits the room well and is very comfortable. The old couch sat by the street all day so I went out to pick it up and move it. I noticed that the couch was missing one of the cushions and a large pillow. I thought that was strange and picked up the sofa on the dolly. One of my neighbors came out to give me a hand. We started to roll it up the street and another neighbor came out and asked if we were taking it. Apparently he wanted it and so he took the cushion and pillow to dissuade others from taking it. I was glad to give it to him.

As far as all the Captain America Civil War product tie-ins that I found there are probably plenty more but I picked up some fun things from Kelloggs, Pop Secret and more. Some of these items also are part of giveaways. For example the Pop Secret Captain America: Civil War Popcorn will get you $7 from Fandango. Then with the Pringles two packs there is a great mail away for a Captain America Civil War VR viewer. I’m keeping a look out for even more items as we get closer to the release of the movie.

A Star Wars: The Force Awakens Family Viewing Party

The Kids and their Star Wars party favors
Photo-A-Day #4011

We received a large box of fantastic Star Wars toys from Hasbro and a Blu-ray/DVD copy of the Force Awakens to use to have a viewing party. Opinions of the movie and the toys are 100% our own.

I’ve personally seen #StarWars #TheForceAwakens four times now and have enjoyed it each and every time I’ve seen it. We’ve seen it as a family now twice and the kids really enjoy it. This Christmas was a huge Star Wars year because the kids wanted Star Wars toys and books. Eva got a ton of books and has been reading all of them ever since. Her favorite is a book called Everything you want to know about Star Wars. And last week we watched the season finale of Star Wars Rebels. The storytelling around Star Wars is incredible and we are such fans. We even made this little video for today’s vlog all about the party package that we received.

There are some more photos of our party below. Continue reading A Star Wars: The Force Awakens Family Viewing Party
