The Hasbro Cinematic Universe Names Top Writers

When I heard that Hasbro was going to be creating a cinematic universe for their toy properties, I was excited. I grew up watching M.A.S.K., G.I. Joe, Transformers and Visionaries. While it doesn’t look like Transformers will be part of this universe, oh man it really should, M.A.S.K., G.I. Joe and Visionaries along with Micronauts, and ROM will be. This gives a ton of possibilities for cross-property movies. So, will there be some establishing movies like a revamped G.I. Joe where at the end we get a post credits scene where Duke recruits his childhood friend Matt Trakker into a new division called the Mobile Armored Strike Kommand? Or maybe at the end of the M.A.S.K. movie Brad Turner crash lands in Condor through a portal to the world of visionaries and because of his hocus pocus mask he befriends the good visionaries.

I’m not a writer for these movies but I do have some fun ideas on how they could work together. It is going to be up to the newly announced sable of writers to weave these properties together into a coherent whole. I am looking forward to seeing it done. Read more about it below.

Loot Crate – QUEST – Unboxing

Each month I get a Loot Crate for free to unbox and give an honest review.

This month’s theme was QUEST. And to be honest I think it sort of fell short of the mark this month. The shirt was okay, I gave it to Allison. I also gave Allison some Harry Potter Socks. I kept a few of the things like the Vikings Drinking Horn and the 20 sided dice ice cube maker. After that was the pin, magazine and a poster for Uncharted. It seemed a little light overall.
