You can finally do something with the Spitfire and Stealth Elf cards that you got in your Skylanders SuperChargers Starter Packs. Skylanders Battlecast has launched and it is a lot of fun. I received some cards to unbox and review. Opinions are 100% my own.

Battlecast has many aspects to it. You can scan in cards, buy cards as well and then play those cards in the story mode as well as the vs mode. In each mode you create a powerful deck of character cards, spell cards, gear cards or relic cards. You can up to three characters in play at one time and can swap between them. You can also use spell cards which include element themed spells, generic spells or character specific spells. Gear can also be themed by element or character and relic cards work for the whole team. Here is a look at the unboxing and the cards as well as an example of gameplay. Afterwards you can read a full press release about the game.

World Turtle Day, A Bike Light and a Fight Lighting Necklace

Back from a weekend of work and catching up on whatever posts I haven’t gotten a chance to post yet. I also had time today to record one of my Content Blvd reviews. this one was for a Bike Light. It is a rechargeable USB Bike Light called the Cycle Torch Shark 500. I am giving one away and you can find it at my Cycle Torch Giveaway post. I did some recording out in the garage and found it was a decent place to record except for how hot it was and I’m sure that I could never record if the neighbors were out.

I received a shipment today that coincided with World Turtle Day. It was the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pizza Oven. We’re going to review that one another day. I was hoping that my shipment was going to be some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys. They are coming.
