Steven Spielberg’s movie of Roald Dahl’s classic The BFG is in theaters this weekend. However, before you go to see the movie you may want to familiarize yourself with the Gobblefunk Glossary. This will help you learn the funny language of the BFG. These nonsensical words are so funny for the kids when we read the book to them. I think that they’d enjoy hearing the BFG speak those words in the movie, too. In addition to that I also have a bunch of clips and featurettes to share with you and if you are looking for them then you can check out the Coloring Pages. If you go to see the movie this weekend, please let me know in the comments below!
July 4th is fast approaching and with the fireworks, food and fun there is also the birthday of Captain America. This year marks the 75th birthday of this American icon. Despite what is going on in the comics right now he is still a hero. The current storyline will eventually go back to normal. This past year I have been poking fun at Captain America, too. MY friend Andrew of Mommy’s Busy was backing Cap in the movie Captain America: Civil War and I took the Iron Man side. Andrew is actually giving away two out of the three toys that I received from Hasbro and you can enter at The Happy Birthday Captain America Giveaway. Tell him I sent you. So, to celebrate these toys and Cap’s birthday I did an unboxing video today on the vlog.
