We received an iGuy iPad case for kids from Speck for free to use and review. Our opinions are 100% our own.
When I was at Blogger Bash I met with the folks from Speck. They had a ton of iPhone cases but what really interested me was the iGuy iPad case because I thought it would be awesome for the kids.
I was so right about this. We received a purple iGuy, which is Andrew’s favorite color, and he couldn’t wait to put the iPad inside. The iPad fit perfectly into the iGuy with access to all the ports. Andrew couldn’t stop giggling that the power cord port was under iGuys armpit. He went into giggle fits on that one.
Andrew has been using the iPad in the iGuy ever since I gave it to him. He carries it around like a stuffed animal and holds it by the arms as we watches his shows and plays his games. I like it because it is large and squishy with plenty of depth for the iPad so that if dropped it would be protected. Protection is what is needed with a rambunctious four year old who loves technology and watching videos.
We received a copy of Find It® Games newest themed adventure, Mythical Creatures for free to play with and review. Opinions, as always are 100% our own.
We are fans of the Find It® Games in our home. We have a couple and the kids pick them up from time to time to see how many items the can find. With Mythical Creatures they are now learning about things like Bigfoot, The Kraken, and even a jackalope. Andrew was even talking to me about solving a riddle for the Sphinx. With this new game there are some cards included that challenge players to find not only all the creatures but ones with specific attributes like horns or feathers.
When Andrew was playing with the game I was working on a project and needed a few minutes to complete it. So, he would come over and I would pull out one of the cards and challenge him to find a creature according to that card. He would go off and find the item and come back to me, sometimes after a minute or so sometimes longer but he really worked hard at it. Continue reading Review: Find-It: Mythical Creatures→
