How to use amiibo with The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild on Nintendo Switch

Playing The Legend of Zelda, Breath of the Wild has been a ton of fun. Today I took out the amiibo characters of Archer Link and Zelda for Breath of the Wild. They each give great treasure chests full of items and if you are lucky you can get really rare stuff.

After I made today’s video I went online and learned a bunch about the use of amiibo characters in the game. I’ve been checking out other YouTube videos on the amiibo figures and have come across some great information and also fun uses for even MORE amiibo characters. The old Zelda related ones can give you even MORE great stuff!!!

However, you can use every amiibo character that you have. When you put on a Legend of Zelda related amiibo figure then you get a treasure chest in addition to extra items. The treasure chest may contain really rare items and the additional items might be really good, too. I realized that I have more amiibo than I thought I had and used all of them to get a bunch of great stuff including arrows, ingredients and more. I wish I had thought to try the others before I made the video. You can even use the Bowser and Donkey Kong Skylanders/amiibo characters to gain more items. I swear that Donkey Kong dropped bananas.

On another note, I’ve drained the battery more than once playing Zelda, it is awesome!

Can You Use SuperChargers Vehicles in Skylanders Imaginators for the Nintendo Switch

I’ve been playing a bunch of Skylanders Imaginators on the Nintendo Switch. This morning I loaded a bunch of my Imaginators Senseis, Creation Crystals and Imaginators Villains into the game. I learned that you have to actually load them in twice so that they can be accessed at anytime. I do not know how many I can actually load into the game but eventually I will try and do all 300+ Skylanders to see how many can actually be permanently loaded.

All reports prior to getting Skylanders Imaginators for the Nintendo Switch tell me that you cannot use the Skylanders SuperChargers vehicles. There is no racing in the game, but you can certainly load in the vehicles and what’s more they give you an imaginite chest. This is different than the Wii U version. On the Wii U version I can scan the vehicle and it becomes available to use in the racing portion of the game. No racing portion, no reason to even load them, right? However, I learned that you should load them to get imaginite items. So far I’ve loaded in two of them and they got a couple of imaginite chests. You can see how that works in the video below.
