Summer vacation started today with the last day of school for Allison and Eva. Before I took Eva to school this morning we sat down for a short conversation. I wanted to chat with her about her past year and what she was looking forward to next year.
I am very proud of her. She has become an even bigger reader over this past year. I don’t even know how many times her has read Harry Potter. We have to ask her to try another book in between readings of Harry Potter. She loves that series and I am very happy that it has captured her imagination like it has.
She is growing up so quickly and into a person that we love more and more. I love having these moments together where we just chat about things. I’m glad that the Summer is here and we can work on more videos together. It is always tough when school starts back up and we have little time together except for mornings and nights. We’ll make the most of this Summer and whatever time we can do things together.
In addition to being a Netflix Stream Team Member I am also a Beat Bugs Dream Team Member. As such I receive compensation and products for my posts about the show Beat Bugs. However, the opinions expressed are 100% my own. I’ll be writing often about this fun show.
Beat Bugs is a show on Netflix for pre-school age children that teaches life values through the songs of The Beatles. It is really cool how they interpret the songs to go along with the world of Beat Bugs. Just today we watched the one on The Yellow Submarine and how they created that scenario. It was done so well and I loved the look of the “submarine”. While the show looks really amazing it is the music and the musicians that make the show so special. So many amazing performers have provided their voices and talents to the Beatles’ songs. Musicians like Eddie Vedder, The Lumineers, Pink and Rod Stewart to name a few.
