Olympic Oreos

Despite the outcome of the Big Game tonight we still had a decent night at work. Along with some buffalo tenders we also had some Olympic Oreos for dessert. They have all sorts of designs on the cookies for the Winter Olympics games. I know that Eva and Andrew are going to be excited to watch the games. They will probably do so at their grandparents’ house on Thursday when I take Allison on a special night out for her birthday. They’ll enjoy it on the new TV, which is really my old TV that we installed at their house this week. I know that Mom and Dad enjoyed the TV during tonight’s game, at least for the picture, not the outcome.

Fun with Facebook Messenger

Today, Allison set Eva up with a Facebook Messenger for Kids that allows kids only to send messages to approved people. So, now she can send messages to Allison, Me and her aunts. Allison wanted a way for Eva to be able to get in touch with her when she was out of the house.

Eva sent me a ton of messages and loves playing with the augmented reality masks and such. I woke and responded to her with a few of my own. She laughed like crazy when she saw the one above. She did go a little crazy with so many texts but it was nice to be able to send her a goodnight text from work.

The app is good because we can control who she speaks to and also take a look at what she is doing with the app as well. Andrew wants it too so he can do the silly stuff. For some reason, his iPad is not working right. It may not be something possible for his iPad to be able to do. I’m not quite sure at this point.
