Like most parents who celebrate Christmas you may be considering an elf on the Shelf. We have had one for several years and our Fitzy is a beloved member of the family. The kids cannot wait for his return the day after Thanksgiving. I am fortunate that my children still have Christmas magic in their hearts and believe in Santa Claus. However, I’m getting a bit tired of Elf on the Shelf and his rules. You can’t touch him and you have to move him every night. Many an evening either myself or Allison has shot up in bed to curse, “I forgot to move the #$!!@ elf!” It is a bit exhausting but we started this thing and have to see it through. Had Reindeer in Here been an option way back when then we certainly would have gone that route.

The one day that Andrew goes out to get the boxes for me was this day. Hopefully he will not remember when our Reindeer comes to stay with us on December 1st.

I have to admit, I did not get the concept of DreamWorks Trollhunters when it first came out. Then I watched and episode and I was completely hooked. The story was great, the acting superb and the visuals were amazing. Trollhunters sprang from the mind of Filmmaker Guillermo del Toro. The show ran for three seasons on Netflix. During season two it was announced that Trollhunters was part of something much, much bigger.
Trollhunters was just the beginning. There were many more tales to tell in Arcadia. Tales about aliens, trolls and wizards in fact. Trollhunters would be part of a trilogy that would include two additional shows, 3Below and Wizards. There was even a great conspiracy board video where Eli shows Toby all of the evidence that he has found. That was a fun video to tease this trilogy.
And now the time has finally come to show the world the second part of the trilogy. 3Below is the story of three aliens who have come to Earth. They are on the run from a hostile coup on their home planet. While they attempt to repair their ship they need to blend in with the locals. This short video below teases the overall look of the show and the aliens, Aja (Tatiana Maslany), Krel (Diego Luna) and Vex (Nick Offerman) in both their alien and human forms.
