We received the game Not Parent Approved and the two expansion decks for free to play with and review. Opinions are our own.
We attended Sweet Suite this past July and while we were there we learned about the game Not Parent Approved. This is a fun game with hilarious possibilities. It is a fun one to take with you and play at a restaurant before the food arrives. I know that I am getting a wee bit tired of playing endless games of tic tac toe. I’d much rather play a game that gets everyone talking and laughing and having fun. With Not Parent Approved you get tons of conversation, laughter and even some moments of extreme silliness.
We’ve played the game a few times and we were happy to get not only the full game but expansion packs 1 and 2. The game is a perfect little stocking stuffer for your teens and tweens. It is for ages 8+ but we let Andrew play along with us. He’s 7 and is already reading really well and enjoying playing family games often. The game is also a good one for long car rides, this can also get the kids off the screens for a while. It is also a silly fun game to play after Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner with the whole family. Continue reading Not Parent Approved – A Funny Way to Pass the Time Without Screens→
The fine folks from Readysetz sent us a small Space Base playset to play with and review. Here are our honest opinions on the toy.
In our house, we love toys and play and just having a great time using our imagination. We also love screentime and tv and movies but we understand that we should limit much of that time for more hands on activities. Luckily with the Readysetz playsets that we have it is very easy to do. A while back we received the Readysetz Urban Playset. This was the large size set and it is perfect for our larger action figures like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and more. The set makes a fantastic backdrop to use in photographing so many toys. That is what I use it for mostly.
The Space Base is the newest playset and it is the one that we just got. I opted for he smaller size this time and it is perfect for 3 3/4 inch toys like old school G.I. JOE figures and the more resent Star Wars Rebels figures that we collect. And if I can find the somewhere the Slugterra toys would also be perfect. I did a video review of the toy myself this time, no kids, because, honestly, I wanted this one for myself so I can use it for so many fun photo shoots.
