Review: Oddbods Buddies

Oddbods Buddies

I had never even heard of Oddbods until I was offered a couple of Oddbods Buddies for free to play with and review. They are from Kids Station Toys Incorporated. Opinions are my own.

When the Oddbods arrived at my house I could not believe the size of the box. These are HUGE plush toys that are interactive and make lots of sounds depending upon how you play with them. On top of that when two Oddbods Buddies meet each other they greet each other and have a conversation, in their Oddbods way. Oddbods do not talk, they communicate through gestures as well as different grunts and giggles and other sounds. They make a lot of sounds. They also make different sounds depending upon how you play with them. They are soft for snuggling but also tough for roughhousing and so hugs, and body slams will produce much different sounds from your Oddbods Buddies. I show you how they work in the following video.

The new line of Oddbods buddies are sold exclusively at Target Stores nationwide. They have special sound effects that are activated when they meet each other. Great for ages 3+ and retail for $39.99 each (total value of $80). Continue reading Review: Oddbods Buddies

Santa Nintendo Sent us an Amazing Box of Gifts

Nintendo has been so good to our family this year. They have sent us so many fun games this past year and then out of the blue they sent us an amazing gift pack filled with the latest Nintendo products for the holiday season. You can find the latest gift ideas at happyholidays.nintendo.com We are more than happy to test them out and tell you all about them. Opinions are our own.

The gift pack contained a sampling of so many different options for family fun. If you are into STEM then the Nintendo Labo: Vehicle Kit. The family that smashes together stays together with the all new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. There are so many amazing characters to pick as fighters in this game. And speaking of characters, your favorite Nintendo characters are all together having a party in Super Mario Party for the Nintendo Switch. And for those aspiring Pokemon trainers in your family there is the all new Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! + Poké Ball Plus Pack. The coolest thing about this game is that the players can use the Poké ball for real world game play.

The gift box also included a copy of the Super Mario Kart Monopoly, a Super Mario Kart Christmas ornament and even some Christmas papercrafts. And that wasn’t all, we even received a Nintendo eShop $20 gift card which I’ll be using toward either Mario Kart 8 so I can use the steering wheel and gas pedal from the Nintendo Labo: Vehicle Kit or maybe the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass so I can unlock additional DLC levels and fighters. I opened the box myself early and then resealed it so that I could reopen with the kids. They were thrilled as you can see in the video below.
