Today, Allison and Eva were away at Allison’s grandparent’s house. They went up for a wake and funeral. Sadly, our cousin’s father passed away quite unexpectedly. I was unable to go but my heart goes out to our extended family.
So, while Allison and Eva were gone last night I figured that I would be very productive and take care of a ton of things that I need to get done. before Blog World Expo. I’ve got lots of posts to write as well as videos to make. Did I do that? No. I did work with one of my clients and that was the most productive that I was the entire night. I read comics, played time waster games, cleaned out the freezer, washed dishes and folded clothes. But I don’t feel that I was that productive overall.
I need the structure of having Allison and Eva at the house because when left to my own devices I completely lose focus and track of time. When Allison and Eva are home I know that I have limited time to get things done so I get things done. When I have unlimited time I ended up screwing around. Did I go to bed early, no. I crawled into bed and mindlessly tapped my iPad to make a small frog jump lilypad after lilypad and eat dragonflies. That game completely sucked me in, completely.
I came home to find that Tina Clark (@KodakEvents) of Kodak sent me a brand new Kodak PlayTouch HD digital video camera. It is pretty awesome. I charged it up and played with it a bit. I’ll be taking that with me to Blog World Expo and am giving one away during my session at BWE. I’ll also be giving away a Kodak point and shoot camera as well. That is a great prize, I’ve been using the Kodak M580 since I got it and I love it. All photos in October are being shot with that camera too.

I’ve owned 2 Kodaks and have loved them both.
Deborah,
My very first digital was a Kodak, and I loved it.
