I was sent a Road Rippers R/C Dodge Super Bee by Child’s Play PR on behalf of Toy State. Toy State has a ton of great remote control vehicles. They have tons of different models of cars like Hummers, Mustangs and they have a whole line of remote controlled CAT licensed construction vehicles.

The Dodge Super Bee is so much fun to drive. I tried it out inside and outside as well. As I played Eva wanted to play as well. She took to driving pretty well but she only goes forward and back, she didn’t take advantage of moving the car from side to side. She also liked chasing the car around while I ran it all over the driveway. We made a little video of it while we were playing. Take a look.

In addition to a fully functional remote control car the package also contained a drivers license with a code that you can use to put that car into your garage on Motor Island. On Motor Island kids can drive all over the island. So, with each car you get you can add it to your garage. You can customize the cars, upgrade them and do some fun games while you tour the island.

Additional things that you can do on the Toy State site include checking out the commercials, all the rest of the vehicles and there is even a downloadable coloring book. I like to see it when sites have alternate activities for visitors. The coloring book is a great thing for little kids and I intend to print it out for Eva and I to color together.

I took the car out to the front walk to get today’s Photo-A-Day Photo but I took a few other photos of the car. I put a stick under the back wheels so they would spin and I could get the lights that light up when the car goes forward. There is also the sound of a car peeling out when you first push the remote forward. There is also a big button that when pressed plays the song Shout. Eva loved dancing around to that as we played with the car.
