We received a package of new Voltron Metal Defender series toys from Playmates Toys to play with and review. These are my opinions alone.
I have to admit, I was walking the aisle of Target and saw that there were these new Metal Defender Voltron lions out for sale. These were diecast metal lions that combine to for Voltron. I saw that there was a set with all five of the lions together and so I asked my contact at Playmates Toys if I could get one to review. I did not get that one, instead I got a box that had all five individual lions in separate boxes. This was perfect! I was super excited wen I got home and they were there. These were the Voltron Toys I’d been waiting to see made. These lions work together to form an 8 inch Voltron. You can see how they all go together in my video below and then I have some photos of each lion and Voltron below.
I was sent a Road Rippers R/C Dodge Super Bee by Child’s Play PR on behalf of Toy State. Toy State has a ton of great remote control vehicles. They have tons of different models of cars like Hummers, Mustangs and they have a whole line of remote controlled CAT licensed construction vehicles. These flowers are outside the office. I see them every day I head out of the door and think, I should take a photo of them. So I did today.
Today I also signed up to be a publisher with Market Leverage. I’m pretty excited too. I’ve been thinking about making this move for a while and today it became official. I like the things that Market Leverage is doing in their community like the Charity Bowl-A-Thon. Dina Riccobono from Market Leverage has been a big part of me making this decision. She has been very supportive of me and this blog. She even arranged for Allison, Eva and I to visit the Market Leverage offices. I look forward to getting to know my Publisher Manager Erica.
I’m a big fan of the candy M&Ms. My favorite kind is the Peanut M&M but lately Dark Peanut M&Ms are slowly taking over the top spot. I have an M&M candy dish with Yellow and Red standing on it. I have dispenser what depicts Blue on a motorcycle. You push his foot on the kickstart and M&Ms fall into the sidecar. I love that one.
But now I learned about the Transformers Candy Dispenser. M&Ms Mars has teamed up in the awesome Marketing Blitz that is the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen movie to bring us tons of things, most of it crap but this Transformers M&M Dispenser I MUST HAVE! The candy dispenser depicts Red as Optimus Prime on top of the dispenser and all you need to do to get one is to buy 5 bags of M&Ms or Snickers (9.5oz bags or larger) from Target.
I’m not getting paid by anyone to tell you about this, I actually went to Target last night and bought 5 bags so I could get myself this candy dispenser. I can’t wait to get it and put it on my desk.
It seems that the only thing I want to do these days it come home and spend time with Eva. Allison tells me about the things that she does all day. Today Eva sat on the couch and asked if she could watch “Transformers”. Allison even got her to say it again in a video that she sent to me on my phone. Oh it did me proud. Eva and I watch Transformers Animated each Saturday and while she doesn’t really pay much attention to it at least she knows the name of the show.
Tonight when I got home I picked her up from her friend’s house and we spent some time at home playing in the back yard. This photo today was one of those where when I took it and looked at the LCD screen and knew that this one was one of those that I’d want to keep forever. Forever because it was a moment in time where I just wanted to hold Eva and never let her go. Just seeing the joy in her eyes and the wonder is so amazing.
Later tonight Eva and I watched a little bit of Mary Poppins (yeah, she’s still on that right now). She was so tired because she never went down for a nap. Because of that she sat right there next to me and watched the show till she pretty much fell over asleep. It was very cute. I put her right down for bed and not a peep.
