After work Allison and I took a walk with Eva. This time however Allison wanted to try out the Piggyback Rider. Eva had a nice time on carrying Eva around on her back. She found the Piggyback Rider comfortable to use. Eva however gets bored with the long walks and she wants to get down and run around. With there being a ton of snow and ice on the ground we had to find a spot for her to run around. Luckily, there is a street that is pretty quiet so we got on either side and let her bust out.

I worked with a couple of clients today. One who was just learning how to blog. I find that I ended up giving a pretty lengthy summary on how to use the Blogger Interface. I have to say, I am a pretty decent instructor over the phone. I’ve got a brand new blogger up and running after about an hour.

Later on I worked on another client’s site and it was time to move it from temp to live. I learned a lot about things that one must check before it was time to make a big change like that. First things first, if you are moving from one host to another make sure that the e-mail isn’t with that first hosting service before you make changes. I also exported files from the old site and then imported them into the new site. The weird thing is that I simply could not get all the posts from the original site into the new site. Then the categories multiplied like crazy. It was time consuming and frustrating but I keep learning better and more efficient ways to do what I love to do. Everything is still not 100% but I’m figuring out how to get it done right.
