I’ve done a few posts with Playmobil this past year and my daughter has benefitted from these posts the most because she’s gotten the fun playsets to enjoy. We recently received the Take Along Unicorn Fairy Land to play with and review. Opinions of the toy are 100% my own.

The unique thing about this playset is that you can pack it all up to take with you once the playtime is done. All the pieces that come with the set can be taken off and placed within the case. The case is made from the large white pieces and the large green piece. The white piece which has spaces for the waterfall and holes for pieces like the vines and swings. That piece sits on top of a large green piece that serves as a meadow and a pond and more. The green piece snaps onto the back of the white piece and there is space to hold the figures and more from the set.

There are two fairies included with this set. A purple fairy and a yellow fairy (I say those colors because they are the dominant colors on the outfits for each fairy.) The playset has a little swing that the fairies can use, it really swings. The Little Fairy light also works. You can see that hanging from the vines with a purple top on it.

The set has a few little animals with it including a swan, a fawn, two squirrels and two rabbits. There is even a little spot for a tiny pond for the swan including some lily pads. There is even a cute little own that perches up on the vines near the swing.

As I mentioned earlier, there are two fairies with the set. they come with scepters and each has a little stick on jewel. The come with wings and very detailed clothing as well as brightly colored hair.

A purple unicorn is included with the set. This unicorn has a silver horn. All of the unicorns that are part of the overall Fairies and Unicorns series look great.

The full set looks great, it has tons of pieces, a giant tree, a swing some flowers, animals and the aforementioned fairies and unicorn. There is nice detail on the front of the case including a set of large doors that can be closed and locked.

My daughter spent a few hours playing with all of her Playmobil toys. She has some previous Fairy sets and some of the figures that I received at Toy Fair. We reviewed the previous Playmobil Fairy set back around Easter and she has enjoyed playing with all of the toys since then. She likes to set up little concerts for the fairies and animals to watch and enjoy.

And once my daughter is finished playing with this set she can disassemble it and pack it up to a nice little carrying case. I can see her taking that along to the Cape to enjoy when she is visiting with her grandparents.
