Photo-A-Day #4606
Our sweet little boy is six now. He’s very excited about this new age. We went down to the Cape today and my Dad picked up this birthday cake. Andrew’s six birthday day started off with breakfast out at Mackie’s. This was Andrew’s choice and he really likes the place. Probably because he can get two lollipops after his meal. The two lollipop thing was because his gym teacher also works at Mackie’s on the weekends. She let him have “one for each hand” before and that is his go to line when he goes for the lollipops. You don’t even know how many Lollipops we have around the house. He’s never gonna eat them all.
Dad accompanied us to breakfast in the morning and then I brought Andrew over to school and came back to help Dad load a TV into the van. Tired of watching the games on a tiny TV it was time to move a one from home to the Cape to really enjoy a better picture on a bigger screen. It is a much better TV and we made use of it over the holiday.
The kids and Allison had a half day and I ran around doing errands to make sure that we were ready for the trip to the Cape. When they arrived home we packed up and headed over to Smashburger for a late lunch. So, Andrew got two special meals out on his birthday. We drove down to the Cape in the rain and got to the house, unpacked and settled in. We had dinner with my parents and then watched It’s Thanksgiving Charlie Brown, a yearly tradition.
We then did another yearly tradition and everyone got into their Christmas pajamas. The kids don’t know the significance of these yet. They won’t until Christmas.
In all it was a great birthday for Andrew. We also gave him his gifts which included Kamas for Karate.
