Call Me, Beep Me If You Wanna Win My Kim Possible DVD Giveaway

Kim Possible Giveaway

We received a copy of the new Kim Possible Live-Action movie on DVD to review and one to giveaway. Opinions are our own.

We watch a lot of Disney Channel in our house. Some of our favorites are Raven’s Home, Coop and Cami Ask the World, Sydney to the Max and Andi Mack. So, while watching all of those shows it was impossible for us not to see all the commercials for the Kim Possible Live-Action movie. This had both kids very excited to watch. We did a family movie night when we saw it the first time and now we can watch whenever we want with the DVD that is being released today. And you have your chance to win a copy in my giveaway that you can enter below.

The Kim Possible Movie is a fun one. We got a kick out of all the fancy moves from Kim, Ron and Athena. Andrew liked Rufus, the naked molerat and I liked Christy Carlson Romano popping up in a fun cameo. I mean, I watched the original cartoon and I also used to watch Christy Carlson Romano on Even Stevens. Needless to say, I’m a fan. I’m also a fan of Todd Stashwick who played Dr. Drakken. I was quite fortunate to have a phone interview with him before the movie premiered on The Disney Channel.

You can enter to win a copy of the DVD through the Rafflecopter widget just below. The giveaway is open to the U.S. Only.

Review: Nancy Drew and The Hidden Staircase Blu-Ray Giveaway

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment provided me with a free copy of the Blu-ray I reviewed in this Blog Post. The opinions I share are my own.

Nancy Drew Giveaway

I recently watched the new Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase movie. This movie was briefly in theaters and was then released on Digital last week and will be on Blu-ray tomorrow. The movie is based on the classic Nancy Drew Mysteries with iconic teenage super sleuth Nancy Drew and her best friends Bess and George. They are also joined by another girl, Helen who is considered a “mean girl” in their circle of peers.

The movie sets up that Nancy isn’t just good at solving mysteries. She is rebellious, tough, has her own sense of style and justice. She is accomplished in skateboarding, dresses like she doesn’t have a care in the world and is confident, defiant and brave. She is also kind and smart. While she and her friends are pretty much outcasts in their town she is loyal and quick to defend her friends.

There is one moment in the movie that may be a bit scary for younger kids. I have a feeling that it may be scary for Eva. I know she wants to watch the movie because she loved listening to us read the Nancy Drew Mysteries when she was little. I’m sure that we even read The Hidden Staircase to her as well. I’m just glad I watched it first to be ready for that one part (guy in a creepy pig mask).

Through the movie we see four strong female characters who each use their talents to help save the day. It was a fun movie and I am happy to be able to give a copy away to a reader of this blog. Check out the trailer above and then try out the Hidden Staircase escape room app before entering the giveaway. You’re going to have to escape the escape room before you can enter.
