Thanks DreamWorks for the free “She-Ra Yourself Kit” complete with t-shirt, tiara, sword, cape and She-Ra boot socks. Opinions of the show are our own.

We are all geared up in our house for the start of Season 2 of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. This truly was a family show for us. Everyone in the family watched the episodes together and loved them. Andrew loved Bow and Glimmer, Eva She-Ra and Catra, Allison loved Scorpia and I thought Entrapta was so entertainingly weird. Everyone has some laugh out loud moments and we all enjoyed the fun action of the shows. It was such a great update to the classic characters from my youth. I watched every episode when I was younger and enjoyed them, back then. I enjoy the shows even more now because I can share them with the kids.

We are so excited for season 2 to arrive this Friday. Even more excited after we received a special mailer from DreamWorks to “She-Ra Yourself”. This was absolutely perfect for Eva. I had her open the package and then we shot some photos in front of the green screen so that I could make some special images that you can see above and below. But first, check out the season 2 trailer for She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.

Game of Thrones came back today after almost 2 years between seasons 7 and 8. It has been a long wait to see the end of this great series. One of the big marketing things that they did was partner up with Oreo to make special Game of Thrones Oreo cookies that had house sigils on them and also the image of The Night King. I went and picked up a bunch of packs of these to have with each episode. We opened them tonight after dinner because the kids wanted to try them. Mind you, they no nothing about Game of Thrones other than that it is a show for mom and dad. They did have fun with the images and then asking us about each of the houses. Allison and I were like, House Stark is good. House Lannister has some good and bad. House Targeryon is good and The Night King is Bad. That’s as far as we went into it. No need to have them any more interested in a show that they aren’t going to be able to watch for many, many years.
