We went to a very special dinner at the Sea Crest Beach Hotel today. I had read about the Old Silver Beach Shore Dinner in a local magazine. There I saw that they hold the dinner on the beach every Tuesday in July and August. The meal is a full spread for a New England Clambake and it also includes a free day at the Hotel and use of the beach and pools. This year’s Fourth of July festivities included the annual neighborhood parade, a family cookout and a perfect night of fireworks. We got up and got ready for the Annual Dartmouth Neighborhood Parade. Dad decorated the wagon and I tried to get Eva to ride the Mobo Cruiser in the parade but she wants to wait until next year for that one. When she isn’t confident in her ability about something she won’t be doing it. I did attach an American flag to the post but at least so we could take a photo.
