The great thing about video games and Christmas right now is that you can purchase new games for your friends and family through whatever gaming system they have and they’ll have that game on Christmas morning. You don’t have to fight lines or stores to get these games anymore. You simply buy them and download them. That is why video games make incredible last minute gift ideas. One really fun game for kids is the new Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. If you are a Dad who was playing games in the 80’s or 90’s you’re going to know who Crash is and you’re going to want your kids to b playing this game. There was a huge resurgence of Crash over the past few years. He was a playable character in Skylanders Imaginators along with Dr. Neo Cortex and then the first 3 Crash games were revamped and remastered, re-packaged and re-released giving a whole new generation of kids access to great Crash gaming. There was even a Crash Bandicoot racing game that is pretty awesome and filled with fun Crash Bandicoot humor.

In this new game Crash Bandicoot’s nemesis Neo Cortex and Dr. N. Trophy have broken out of their interdimensional prison and are bent on conquering all dimensions. It is up to Crash and his sister Coco to save the day. There have been some changes to the game including changes to Crash’s powers. He has new abilities like quantum masks that help protect Crash and Coco. You can flip your center of gravity, slow down time and even phase shift elements in and out of existence. But that is not all. The rash Bandicoot games have always been about finding new and interesting ways to play through the adventure. With this new game you can try alternate timeline paths, use Neo Cortex’s blaster or Dingodile’s Vacuum Gun. You can also use bumpa berries in mirror mode – N Verted Mode. That is a new way to experience the game and gain rewards. There are some crazy fun things to do in this game.

Crash still runs, jumps and spins as he goes through the levels. He can also slide under things, swing on ropes, surf down vines and so much more. Each level brings with it so many different challenges. You can complete a level and then try to do it for speed. It is a must play or kids of all ages who just love having fun. That is what Crash Bandicoot is all about, having fun and being silly. Don’t believe me. Just stop playing for a second and watch what Crash does while he waits for you to start again. It is funny just watching him as he waits for you to get going again.

You can get Crash Bandicoot 4 now as well as Crash Bandicoot Remastered. Order the physical copy and it will come after Christmas but you can also get a digital code and make the kids in your life so excited to play on Christmas day.
