Photo-A-Day #4217
Today was Farm Day at Andrew’s school. This was our fourth and final farm day. It is kinda sad in that way. I have enjoyed being able to go to each Farm day that the kids have had. I’ve been very lucky in that respect. Farm Day is a day where all the kids get to play games, ride ponies, pet baby animals, make pumpkins and more. They start off with a farm breakfast of sausage and biscuits. Then parents come and the kids and parents go to all the stations.
You can see what it is like in my vlog today. I don’t know what happened with the sound in a few places. I must have covered a microphone or something.
Andrew’s favorites were.
The Pony ride. He loved ridding that pony and wearing my cowboy hat. He rode around a small parking lot once but it was a thrill for him and that is what Farm Day is all about.
What Andrew like most was holding all the little bunnies. This was his favorite part of the day. He sat there holding every bunny that the young woman would pass him. He’d hold it very softly and gently and talk to it and pet it. IF it tried to jump out of his hands he’d let it, he didn’t chase it or make it feel trapped. He’s really gotten very gentle with animals.
