Green Thumb Sunday
This is one of my Dad’s old tool belts and hammer. He put this up on the door to our outdoor shower back about a year ago. It was Photo-A-Day #434 last year. Each year he puts some new pots in the belt and the flowers grow like crazy. I can only claim to have taken the photo not the idea. The gardeners in my family are my sister Tara and my Dad.
Gardeners, Plant and Nature lovers can join in every Sunday, visit As the Garden Grows for more information.

Welcome to GTS!
That’s beautiful Drew! Fantastic photo and kudos to your father for coming up with the extremely creative idea of growing flowers in a toolmans belt. That’s so cool!
I saw in your replies that you have more creative items like this in your yard. I think I can safely speak for the rest of the Green Thumbers when I say we’d love to see them. Personally I love creative ideas, especially if I might be able to borrow the idea one day too. LOL
Thanks Tricia. I will have other images up on the blog in future GTS’s. Can’t reveal all at once. Gotta save something for the weather changes.
