At Capron Park, Hanging with Mr. Cool

Hanging with Mr. Cool

We had a day to get things done. Andrew and I picked up the yearly gift from work. A kosher turkey. Then we ran over to my parent’s house to put the finishing touches on the annual Christmas Letter. I set it up to print to the paper that my parents want to use. Formatting the text is my job on Christmas Letter detail. We got that together quickly and then headed back home, along with Dad to put up the Christmas Tree.

Andrew and I spent the rest of the day hanging around the house while I cleaned things up and went through the Christmas decorations. However, it was such a nice day that I decided to take Andrew over to Capron Park. He loves playing at the playground and he didn’t get to go to Playgroup today and that meant no outside playground time. So, we walked over to the park together and played on the playground then went inside to see the animals in the zoo.

The Captain driving

Andrew had fun on the playground and even driving around like he was a riverboat captain.

Visiting the Otter

Somthing was really cool about the otters today. Someone had put some acorn tops along the wall outside the enclosure. The otters kept coming back to that spot trying to get at them. Andrew played with the acorns and was delighted to see the Otter play along with him. We walked from there to the stage and Andrew did a little dancing. While we were there we heard the lions roaring. We hustled over there to see them in action.

On of the Lionesses at Capron Park Zoo

I shot this one of one of The Lioness. I love the shadows on this one.

Ramses Yawn

Ramses is my favorite lion, of course. I shot a bunch of pictures of him and caught this great one of him yawning. Look at those teeth! Wow.
