The Incredible Hulk has had many different incarnations. He’s been played by many actors but when Mark Ruffalo took on the role then The Hulk became a part of something much bigger. Which is saying something since the Hulk is huge. Mark’s portrayal of The Hulk is excellent and even better is his Bruce Banner. I loved his performance in MARVEL’s The Avengers and also again in MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron which is being released on October 2 on Blu-ray/DVD. I was lucky enough to go out to California to see MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron well before many people and I got to interview many of the cast members. The one that eluded me was Mark Ruffalo and also Scarlett Johansson. We ran out of time and missed them. But their story in MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron was excellent in my opinion.
My son, Andrew is a big fan of big green. When I told him that we were going to Walmart to pick up some costumes of some Avengers he insisted upon a Hulk costume. We have these giant Hulk hands and many other items from other members of MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron, but Hulk is Andrew’s main man. I can see that for a 3-year old. They are sweet and nice one minute, a ball of twisting terror the next. So it was fitting that even though we picked up am Iron Man and a Thor costume, that Andrew wanted only The Hulk.
The Halloween costumes section at the front of our Walmart had a really nice selection of costumes from MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron. There are supposed to me costumes for Hulk, Black Widow, Thor, Captain America, Ultron, Vision, Iron Man, and Hawk Eye. There are also some Spider-Man ones. I thought that Andrew would be interested in getting Spider-Man but he looked and wanted The Hulk. I did try and get Eva a Black Widow costume but I think they were pretty hot commodities and were sold out. I’ll have to check a few other places. I found everything else except for a Hawk Eye costume, which would have been her second choice.
There were also some MARVEL’s The Avengers products around the store. We picked up some Avengers Hero Twists. These are twists of mozzarella cheese that we can put into lunches for quick snacks on the go. I searched all over for some MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron grapes but was unsuccessful. I’ll definitely go back for those because Andrew loves grapes. He doesn’t even need super heroes on the packs to get him excited to eat them. But, if it helps with the healthy choices for snacks then I’m all for it.
We’re just about to hit October and Halloween is right around the corner. The costumes were $15 each and have padding to look like muscles. They also included a cute little wrist communicator that has a changing lenticular face so it looks like either Nick Fury or Iron Patriot are calling for our heroes. Andrew was pretty fascinated by that. He ran all over the yard in his costume.
Here is a fun idea. You may even want to throw a Halloween watch party with your attendees coming as their favorite Avenger. There are many to choose from and they all unite to take out the evil Ultron. So, if you are looking for anything related to MARVEL’s Avengers: Age of Ultron then you should make a check of the Walmart site where they have all of their related products in one place. You can even purchase MARVEL’s Avengers: Age of Ultron when it is released on October 2, 2015. I certainly cannot wait to see it again. I saw it a bunch of times but being able to watch it whenever I want will be great. Which Avenger is nearest and dearest to your heart? For me it is Iron Man!
*highfive* I’m also a fan of Iron Man. It’s something about the genius, billionaire, philanthropist playboy thing. Idunno. Your little Hulk is adorable! My Walmart didn’t have Hulk, so my guy was sorely disappointed that he had to be Captain America. Aw well, He can Hulk out without the costume (his attitude anyway), I didn’t need it to get worse. 🙂

Thanks Summer! He loves playing as Hulk. Notice the last image where he is holding a bunch of pinecones. He got sap all over his costume. Hand washing it so that he can play again.
