This morning on my walk a hawk landed over on the park. It was hopping around a bit. I thought it might have something in its talons. The image is zoomed because, obviously, I’m not getting close to a hawk. They are my favorite bird, too. Once in a while there is one that perches on our roof or in one of our trees. Around my place they do have their pick of prey, too. Tons of squirrels. Maybe those ladies feeding the squirrels in the park are just fattening them up for the hawk.
