The morning started with a COVID-19 test for me and Eva. That was a horrible feeling. Eva handled is much better than I did. There was a close contact in Eva’s class so for the next few days our plans are all messed up. I am getting my first vaccine shot tomorrow and I had to rule out whether or not I had the virus.

For dessert tonight we had cake. Andy asked Allison if he could bake a cake and in a moment of weakness she relented and let him make one. He did the design of the cake himself. Choose the frosting colors and all that and added the Hershey’s kisses. So the frosting is black on top, or slightly gray and for some reason we had some valentine’s day frosting left over. It is a cake just because.
