Today I snagged a Daredevil Funko Pop Bobblehead on clearance and finally found the Venom car that I missed by seconds on New Year’s Eve day. I also found some candy on a 70% discount. It was a successful Target run. I also began work on a Snack Stadium that I have to construct for a blog post to me released this coming Monday. Other than that, today was a good day. Andrew was back at school and very happy about that arrangement. He took a two hour nap so I could watch two episodes of Marco Polo and so I’m almost finished with that, which will be sad since then I’ll have to wait for July for the next season to start. It is so good. Here is today’s vlog and remember that you can read the transcript below. I go through my video and transcribe the whole thing to for anyone who would rather read. I still have to figure out how to transcribe this easier.

Hey this is Drew Bennett from BenSpark.com and today is Day 5 of my taking a video every single day for the year 2016. Let’s get into what’s going on today. Today I went to Target. I like to go to Target, I go there a lot! Cruising the aisles trying to find different toys because I am always looking for toys and I found this Funko Pop Daredevil from the Netflix series Marvel’s Daredevil. And he was on clearance, probably because it says “As Is” probably because the box is all busted up. I don’t care because I’m going to take him out of the box and play with Daredevil. Or display him, I probably won’t play with him. here you go. It is his costume for the TV show.

There’s mixed reviews on the costume for the TV show, that it doesn’t look good. I think once when you see an actual episode I think you’re gonna like it, it’s gonna grow on ya. First season of Daredevil was amazing. I loved it so much. I can’t wait to see second season. Which we just found out today that second season will be released March 25 and that is to coincide at the same time, in competition with Batman vs Superman Dawn of Justice. Good move on Netflix and Marvel’s part because I’d rather binge watch a whole season of Daredevil than go see Batman vs Superman. I’m really not excited about it. I wish I was but I’m not. So, it’s my new Daredevil Funko Pop guy.

Oh, I also found this Venom Hot Wheels, Marvel Hot Wheels character, Venom. It’s funny because I’ve been looking for Venom. That’s the only one I don’t have out of the Marvel series. Except there is a whole bunch of new Ultimate Spider Man ones that are coming out soon. But I’ve been collecting all of them and actually this past weekend I was at a Target that wasn’t my Target. I was going to look for this one specifically. I came into the Target and I ran into a guy that I work with. Of course I stop and said “Hello.” He was there with his wife and his kid and so we stop and talk with him. then I was like, “All right let’s hustle off to toys” because I was excited to get to the toys. I go around the aisle, the Hot Wheels aisle and there was this lady who had Venom in her hand and she bought the last one, the only one probably. I was like, “Aaarrgh.” But, you know what, it’s starting to come out now, I finally got it. I’m not going to worry about that, I have it.

They’re also have a wicked 70% off of the Christmas stuff, if you can still find Christmas stuff at your local Target. Well, at Christmas they come out with these. These are the giant Reese’s cups and they’re like ten bucks. $3.29! I couldn’t pass up $3.29. So what could you say.

So, speaking of snacks. I started building this thing here, this is a Snack Stadium. This is my first attempt at a Snack Stadium. I have to do this for a blog post that is going up on Monday. You can see that on Monday on the blog. But, basically I’ve got the stadium here. I need to add some more things. I’m only partially done with this. It needs more partitions to put more snacks. The middle I’m going to do the football field, probably in guacamole or I could probably make a cake. We’ll see, I don’t know what is gonna end up there in the middle.

But it’s gonna have all sorts of snacks. Candies and chips and things like that so it is a sponsored thing but my building this…. There is no sponsor of me building this at the moment. The sponsorship is what I will fill it with on Monday. Because, you know, even though I’m not really a football guy. Football to me.. I played when I was a senior in high school and I was not very good, or any good. But I did, I played. For me football is all about the snacks and the commercials, especially during the Big Game. My family likes it so I like it and watch it with them. Obviously it is all about the snacks with me. Because, you know, I’ve got Body by Jake… and the Fat Man, if I was following the Fat Man’s workout regimen. Anyway, that’s going to be coming. Some cool stuff there.

Oh yeah. Like I said I had a bunch of the Marvel Hot Wheel’s things. I got in this case here. And if I tilt it forward they’re all gonna fall out. But these are a lot of my Marvel figures. “All right, one of those is missing.” And it is in a tin by Neat-Oh, it’s not a Marvel tin, they don’t make a Marvel tin. They do make two Star Wars tins. They gave me the Marvel tin, I mean I’m sorry, the regular Hot Wheel’s tin that holds 18 cars for a blog review that I did on the blog a while back. And I bought this one when it was on sale at Target. They are going to be sending me the Episode VII one so I can fit the rest of my Star Wars cars in there. There are quite a few Star Wars cars. I just don’t want them to fall out.
