Today I am mixing my Photo-A-Day with Macro Monday’s assignment of guilty Pleasures. I have a weakness for Peanut M&Ms. I love them! I can’t stop eating them and would have them daily if possible. I know it I know, but what I really like is that they do not have high fructose corn syrup, nope good old sugar is used to make these little babies. Not that I should be having much sugar but I figure a few once in a while won’t hurt too much.

My other guilty pleasure is toys, specifically the Transformers. I have been a collector and fan of them for over 20 years. I have stopped buying them for the time being as we will have a child to support in the next month and a half. I’m saving my collection for my kids and hope that one day they will appreciate (obsess over) them as much as I do.

Today we left the Cape but first we had a delicious breakfast with Neil and Andrea at The Hacienda. Yeah Neil and Mexican food, go figure. Well, technically it is a Mexican restaurant but if you just get good old American Scrambled Eggs and Bacon, I’m not sure that counts. But hey, it is a start, someday Huevos Rancheros might be his favorite dish. Not in my lifetime but maybe.
After that we headed home and tackled the baby’s room and the huge pile of gifts from the shower (did I mention that our friends and family kick butt in the generosity department.) We separated the baby clothes from the toys and the books. We got a ton of books and priority one for today was to remove the rest of the stuff from the baby’s room and make way for the library. The number of books for the baby is overwhelming and I can’t wait to read each and every one to the baby. I can’t wait till Allison has the baby so we can stop calling the baby, they baby and give the baby a proper name. The books are all put away, the cute little Classic Pooh mobile is now assembled and up. (How many tiny plastic straps does it take to secure these things in the box. It was ridiculous).
I look forward to assembling all the toys and baby paraphernalia. I emptied my trunk of all my roller blading and kayaking equipment to make way for strollers and pack and plays and all sorts of things that we will need to transport the previously mentioned young ‘un.
Looks like this will be a week for fun with friends. I am going to be making use of my XShot at every turn. So look for many Photo-A-Day posts to have photos that were taken with the XShot. Yeah, when you look at the package sugar is #1 so that means the most, there is some Corn syrup in the outer shell less than 1%.

Do you guys have any names in mind for Baby BenSpark yet? I know you won’t know the gender until s/he is born, so you’re thinking of both boy and girl names now.
Just promise me you won’t name the baby Optimus Prime if it’s a boy (or if it’s a girl, for that matter!) 😀

Hey Christine, no Transformer’s names, We do have names picked out but they won’t be revealed until the baby is born, however I may have slipped in a previous post about the name for a boy…..
You like the name Jacky? I’m not sure what you mean. Unfortunately Jacky is not on our list, Although I really love Jackie Chan movies, that would go over as well as naming the kid after a transformer.

a)i have to strongly protest naming baby benspark after a transformer. if you even attempt it, you will go on “the list.” however, i know your wife…and she won’t let you get away with it. also, no naming the kid after legos. just…no.
