Today we took Eva to her first Mass. We got up early to go to the 8:00 mass so we could get down to the Cape to visit my Grandparents. However we weren’t going to get there on time for their schedule so we stayed home and went to the Baptism class that the church had. We need to take the class so we can Baptize Eva. So now we have to plan that as well.
Around one we got on the road to the Cape, stopped for lunch and made it to the house around 3:00. Eva slept so much today. She pretty much slept from her 10:00 feeding till we were almost finished with our walk around the beach and neighborhood.
We got to see Paul and Ann and they were thrilled to see the baby. Paul gave us much advice. Very funny stuff of course.
I went for a nap and Allison and my mom visited Shirley next door. She gave us some beautiful sleepers. Relaxed and refreshed we headed home. Eva was sound asleep the whole way. She is such a wonderful baby. She loved spending the afternoon with Mémère Denise and Grandfather Andy. Mémère Denise read Eva Goodnight Cape Cod, a cute little book about the Cape.
At home Eva relaxed a bit with Ollie.
Today’s photo-a-day is of a wooden sign at the Cape House. In ‘e’ there was a small moth just hanging out. I took a macro of it too.
I added some more photos to the Eva Gallery.
I think she slept so long so her parents would let her stay up and watch the Red Sox win the ALCS!!! 🙂
awwwwwww
Know what? We have this book in the store over the mountain called “Good Night Vermont”
I’m wondering . . . . .
Nope, She was in bed at a decent hour. 11:30 so she missed it, can’t be letting her stay up watching games at this age. Maybe game 7 of the World Series.
Good Night Vermont sounds like a nice book. We will have to look for it when we get to go back up to my sister’s place near Bellows Falls.
