Welcome fellow Saturday Photo Hunters. Today I bring you a creative project that I saw at this year’s BotCon 2007. Each year people enter projects that they have done to create new displays that have a Transformer Theme. This year a group created a giant model of Bruticus. Bruticus is a gestalt/combiner transformer team and what that means is he is made up of other transformers. There are five of them in fact, they are a team called the Combaticons. There was a military truck called Onslaught, A space shuttle called Blast Off, a helicopter called Vortex, a jeep called Swindle and a tank called Brawl. These five combined together to form Bruticus.

That is cool and how appropriate seeing as the Transformer movie is currently in cinemas in the UK.
now that’s really creative 😛 the name is catchy too
Ah, nifty, robots!! That’s really cool.
Thanks for visiting me. Thomas (the one making the birdfeeder!) thinks your photos are the best!
Whoa! That’s definitely creative! How tall is that guy?
that is extremely creative!! My sons would love that to play with 🙂
nice! reminds me of the movie transformers 🙂
That’s real creative. Seems like we still can’t get over the movie Transformers. It rocks! Happy Weekend! http://crizlai.blogspot.com/2007/07/photo-hunters-creative.html
That is very creative!
awesome…that’s a cool project!creative indeed!
I don’t like this one as much as the others. Maybe it is my mood today, but this one seems mean and nasty. Your photos are great! Don’t get me wrong!!
btw: your blog is loading normally in Safari today!!!! Yippee!!
That is amazing. Takes some real thought into making something like that. Great photos, and thanks for sharing. Have a great weekend.
Hi there Bounce, Thanks for stopping by. I hope you head to the theater to see the Transformers Movie, it is so worth seeing on the big screen and I hope it dominates the box office there like it did here.
Hi satkuru,
Thanks for the comment. Yeah the name is pretty catchy. this guy is one mean Decepticon.
Thanks very much Ami-Chan. I thought they were really fun and so much work went into them.
OMG, it looks GREAT!
It reminds me of “The Family Guy” episode when Peter turned into a transformer guy during a play that he was doing, when he took over Loise’s role as a play director for the Cohog theater.
Cool robot(s)! You have a really nice site.
Thank you very much Chris and tell Thomas to keep up the creative work. I bet those birds are pretty well fed.
Hi Prudence,
That was about 6 feet tall. I’m 5’9 and it was slightly taller than I was. They actually had two large robots there on display, quite some effort to make them I’d say.
Hi Miles,
I would like to play with that robot too. I should have gotten a picture of myself in front of it with my XShot.
tere,
I would hope that it does remind you of the movie, In fact the name of the tank in the movie is supposed to be brawl but is an editing mistake where they ended up showing the name devastator which is another gestalt transformer robot. I hope you liked the movie. I loved it. Thanks for visiting.
Hey there Criz, nope we cannot get over the movie. I for one am so excited that it did so well, that means more will be made. I can’t wait. Thanks for stopping by. I’ll check out your photo and blog as well.
Thanks Blur mommy, wish I was the one to have built that.
Hi jenny®, yeah that was a very creative project, must have taken long hours and much work to complete.
Meeyauw,
No problem, it is not a nice transformer, it is one of the bad guys for certain. I had another creative image that might be more to your liking.

Those two were certainly creative in their costumes.
that is good to know. I never check it on a mac so I miss out on how it is loading. I made some changes a while back to make it load faster too. Thanks for letting me know.
Hi kissedalotatoads, that was certainly a sight to see, I think this group might build one new transformer a year or so, I know it took a long time to create this one.
Hi Chris, I missed that episode, I did see the one with Optimus prime as well as the one where Soundwave worked at the toystore. But I missed the other one. I’ll have to find the clip on youtube. Thanks for stopping and commenting.
Thanks very much fibrate. I hope you stop by and comment again. I really appreciate it.
My husband and boys are going to love this.
Yeah the statue is very very cool. I hope they like it.
