Another quiet afternoon at home. I spent some time working on some client projects and got into the CSS of some themes. A while back I got a copy of Microsoft Expression Web and it came in handy as I made changes to the code. It was good to get into the code too. I haven’t been that deep into code in a while and it felt real good.
Eva woke up this morning as if yesterday’s sickfest never even happened. She was bouncy and bright and so cute. While I was working she was playing with her little mechanical doggy and walking it around the house (slowly) on a leash, in a dress over her monkey PJs complete with tiara, earrings and gloves. She was adorable.
Later on in the afternoon I took Eva for a walk using the Piggyback Rider. She is enjoying it and I like carrying her around using it. The trouble I am having though is when she wants to get down. I have to kneel way down or almost sit to get her unclasped. I think if it was not a land full of snow I’d be able to find a bench or stairs or something to help me unclasp her. Eva is also so very enthusiastic and having her head so close to mine I get a lot of shouts of how much fun she is having. I do love that she gets so excited riding on my back like that.
When we came home Uncle Erik was shoveling the snow off the roof of the house. Eva went to the back yard with Aunt Tara and they played around in the snow. I hung out around the front of house and shoveled up the snow that was raining down from Erik’s shovel.
Yesterday I received two packages. One was a box from iChair with some prizes for a future contest. The other box was from Kodak. Jennifer Cisney (@KodakCB) sent me a Kodak Easyshare Z950 to try out. For the month of February my Photo-A-Day posts will all be shot with the Kodak Z950. I tried it out today and liked it. There is more that I need to do to understand all the functions but rest assured that as I learn new things from the use of this camera I will be sharing it with you.

Love the photo. Is that from oil or Eva’s chalk?
