Allison and I have been thinking of ways to make our back yard more of a play area for the kids. I suggested that we look into getting a play house. Well, she was at play group with Andrew the other day and he was hogging the play house. Allison mentioned that we wanted to buy one of those. Another mom heard her and asked if she wanted one. They were moving and so she just gave it to us.
I cleaned up an area in the back yard and then set up the play house. The kids were pretty excited about it. It is a few years old and is missing some parts so I went online and tracked down the parts and hardware. Once I receive those I will get it all cleaned up and ready for the kids.

Eva is really taking to the role of big sister. She loves to get a chance to hold him, help us with him and give him kisses on the forehead. I took Eva and Andrew for a walk around Capron Park this afternoon. Eva wanted to push the stroller as well. It isn’t too easy to push a stroller when you can’t see where you are going, but I helped her push it. We had a nice walk, got Andrew outside and Eva got to play on the field.

Taking a few shots around the house here is one of the hinges on the shed. This shed has been in our family since I was very young. We moved it from one home to the other and my father built the shed way back when. It is nice to see things standing up over time. Sure there is a little rust but it is still in great working order.
