Allison and Eva went to see the Winnie the Pooh movie one afternoon without me. So, I can’t tell you much about what it was about but I can tell you that they came home very happy with what they saw. Allison is such a Winnie the Pooh fan that she has the complete set of Winnie the Pooh stories several times over. Basically both children (Eva and “Baby Surprise”, to be released in November, LOL) have a full set of the books for their rooms. So we are a Winnie the Pooh friendly family. And so, when Allison and Eva gave the movie a thumbs up I knew it had to be good. Well, the movie is being released on Blu-ray, DVD & Movie Download October 25th. We received a copy of the recently released and re-mastered Disney classic movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I remember seeing the movie as a child and I believe I remember it pretty fondly as it had some fun aspects to it: flying car, fun characters and humor. Watching it again as an adult I actually “got it”. I never actually realized that the amazing Dick Van Dyke (the guy is incredible) was a single dad raising two kids and he told the kids this fantasmagorical story. I missed that whole point as a child. I never realized that until we watched the movie together this past weekend.
