More of my Star Wars LEGO Stash!

For our first day of 2018 I broke into my LEGO stash of Star Wars sets that I have been holding on to since they were first released years ago. Today I pulled out Jango Fett’s Slave 1. I didn’t do enough digging in the basement to find the Boba Fett one that I have. That should be the next build to see how different they are. The build is not as secure as I would have liked it to be. It feels like it is going to fall apart, but it looks cool.

In the afternoon I brought the kids over to visit with my parents and Shelby and the kids. The kids enjoyed playing together, and there were a couple of moments but ultimately it was all good. We had a nice visit.

We came home and had appetizer dinner and watched Smurfs: The Lost Village and finished building Slave 1. It was a good start to the year.

New Hot Wheels – Carships… Yes or No?

I found the Jyn Erso Hot Wheels Character Car at Walmart today along with a few other cars. I found a couple of cars that I liked but were not character cars. There was another Hot Wheels ’17 F-150 Raptor as part of the Hot Trucks line. I have a few of them and this one is red. I like the different trucks that Hot Wheels has made so when I find them I pick them up. I also saw a ’55 Chevy Bel Aire Gasser. This is part of the Hot Wheels Flames series. The last car that I picked up was the Slave One Carship. I’m not totally sold on the whole Star Wars Carships series but Slave One looked really good so I got it.
