Today I attended my first ever Boston Media Makers Event. Boston Media Makers is a group of individuals, bloggers, podcasters, filmakers and more, who get together once a month (the 1st Sunday of the month, it never cancels) at Doyle’s Cafe in Jamaica Plain. Tonight I went to Boston for the launch of a new company and iPhone App called AisleBuyer. What is it and how does it work? This is such a simple yet profound idea for consumers and vendors alike. With AisleBuyer you call up the app on your iPhone (hopefully Android coming soon), scan a product, pay for it and leave the store, after showing the receipt to a store employee of course.
