I picked up 20lbs of rice from Stop and Shop today. Eva had an idea for a project. She wanted to make a weighted stuffed animal and so she took one of the stuffed animals that we got from the company picnic (when we used to have them) and sewed up several little sacks to stuff inside. Each is filled with Rice. I think she used a total of 12 of the 20 lbs of rice to make this a hefty weighted stuffed animal.

Allison made this Home sign for us. She has been making some great crafted items lately. It seems like the whole family has one project or another happening around the house. Eva is constantly creating something new. Andy always wants to cook or bake something and Allison has many crafting projects in the works and has even more projects that she is learning. I’m not sure if this will be the final location for the sign but I sort of like it there.
