Skylanders Imaginators is Coming and You Can Create Your Own Skylanders

I’ve been so caught up in playing Skylanders Battlecast that I didn’t even realize that a new Skylanders console game was on the way. The sixth iteration of the Skylanders franchise will be called Skylanders Imaginators. The concept is pretty amazing and I’m very excited about ever new innovation that Skylanders brings to the table. This time the major innovation is that Portal Masters (kids of all ages even big kids like me) can, for the first time, create their own Skylanders characters and play them in the game. There are so many different combinations of character parts to choose from that you could probably never even reach the end of the possibilities. I had a hard enough time swapping each and every Skylander from Swap Force to hit 256. Can you imagine not only tops and bottoms of the characters but heads, arms, legs and more. The possibilities are limited only to your imaginations. Take a look at the official trailer for Skylanders Imaginators!

That looks incredible. I am so excited to play. I know that the kids will want to spend hours on end creating new and exciting characters. That is something that kids have been asking for a while. Well, now it is a reality. Or it will be on October 16 when the game releases in the US. I have so many more details to share with you including some character images and toy images and the official press release. Keep reading after you see the image of the all new Starter Pack which is up for Pre Order already. The starter pack will be $74.99 but if you have Amazon Prime you can pre-order Skylanders Imaginators on Wii U for $59.99. (My affiliate link). You can get the game in many other consoles as well. Here’s what the Starter Pack looks like.
